Colorful Stripes

Even though this weather doesn't want to cooperate with the season, I decided to rebel and pull out my spring inspired attire. I am so in love with this cobalt blazer. Come to think about it, lately, I've just been in love with cobalt pieces in general. I got these fabulous shoes from Aldo (You can see what I'm talking about on my instagram) in this beautiful hue and I can not wait to style them.
What are you all doing to rebel against this forever-winter weather?

Best of F/W 2014

Giambattista Valli
Hello Fashion menu-istas. Just a quick post here showing some of my favorite looks from some of the F/W 2014 runway show. I wasn't able to check out the show in person this season but was definitely checking them out at home.
This seasons collections were full of rich colors and tons of texture. I tried to pick out a few of my favorites but would love to hear what you liked from the F/W 2014 collection.
Check my collections after the jump.

Business Casual

Happy Monday all. As a licensed real estate agent by day, I am expected to be very business appropriate but the fashionista in me has a hard time confirming so I always try to spice up the traditional business wear. This is a business casual look that I would wear to show houses or for a business lunch. Thanks for stopping by and to see more great content check me out on instagram @according2trish

NYFW Day 4: Feathers and Leather

This is probably my favorite outfit from fashion week. I love feathers and this fabulous feather stole, that I found in a quant vintage shop in Amsterdam, is beyond amazing. You wouldn't believe that this actually goes around your neck but I decided to put a Trisha twist on it and tie it around my waist to give a sort of peplum allusion.
I am really into leather this fall. Like I can't get enough of it. I love how this dress isn't completely leather because it makes it that much more interesting.
I just want to warn you all now, these shoes are so chic and comfortable and you will see me wear them  a lot this fall. Speaking of fall, its actually officially fall now. I can't believe how quickly this year seems to be going by. Like many others, fall is my favorite season but I am dreading the colder weather to come. Well, I'm sure I have something else to do right now so I going to stop typing and wish you all a great week!!
Thanks so much for reading and for even more amazing content check out my instagram @according2trish .

Puerto Rico

I figure I'd take a break from my NYFW post to share with you some of my photos from Puerto Rico. As I told you I was in Puerto Rico for a short vacation and I wanted to do a "little" photo diary to show you all of the amazing things I was able to see and experience while I was there. With this chill in the air that we're having on the east coast, I am  certainly missing that Puerto Rican sunshine.
We stayed at the Embassy Suites and Casino, which was great. They have free breakfast in the morning and a free cocktail time between 5:30-7:30pm every evening. I would definitely recommend staying there.
Food selection was also good in Puerto Rico. When you're there you must try the Mofongo, which is a Puerto Rican dish made of plantains and which ever kind of meat (or veggies) you choose.

The beaches in Puerto Rico are beautiful (not as beautiful as Barbados lol). We had so much fun walking around the beaches and old San Juan. Old San Juan is full of such rich history and beautiful architecture, I felt like I was in a little city in the Middle of Spain. Another great thing to do while in old   San Juan, besides walking around and taking in the beautiful scenery, is visit the Bacardi brewery. It's such a good tour and it free. After the tour you get  two free samples of Bacardi cocktails. Such a great deal!
All in all I had a very good time and would definitely love to go again. If you have visited Puerto Rico and have any suggests  I missed or have any questions I can answer please leave a comments below. Also you can check out even more photos from my Puerto Rican trip on my instagram @according2trish and my facebook page

Blonde

Boy do I have a lot to share about my birthday week and weekend. First off, I'd like to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday and made my special day one to remember.
So for my birthday, my fabulous bf took me to New York for a day of pampering and fun. I got my nails done, facial and massage, went sight seeing and topped it off by going to a awesome revolving roof top restaurant. I will share some picture of that day with you later ( unless you follow me on Instagram @according2trish, where you already saw a few pics).
Ok so, fast forward to this weekend. First, I dyed my hair blonde , which I am soooo loving. How do you all like my new look?
On sunday, I had a huge BBQ with lots of yummies that I can't wait to share with you in some new
recipe posts.
Finally, on to this outfit. I wore this out to a movie date with my bf. We went to see 'This is the end ' and though it was very funny, I didn't really appreciate some of the crude content. I wanted to be comfortable yet chic and this summer sweater did the perfect job. It also helped protect from the harsh A/C that they usual have in the theaters. I paired the sweater with some white jean and tan wedges that I got as a birthday gift.  (birthday haul video coming soon). So I think I've talked your ears off enough, thank you so much for stopping!!!
