Pink Peplum For Sai's B-day

Dress and Earrings: H&M, Shoes: Aldo, Belt: Vintage, Sunnies: Chloe

Last week, I had the pleasure of going to one of my fellow blogger, Sai's, birthday brunch. As the name of her blog attests, she is always super fabulous, and had a wonderful brunch at the Gaylord Hotel at the national harbor. This is what I wore. Ok, so those earrings are amazing!! I love that they are neon and ombre, two trends in one. Isn't the detail on this dress pretty. I know everyone's hip to H&M but really, they do have some nice pieces and are very reasonable priced. I hope you all had a fabulous Memorial day weekend and that you are ready to take on the work week. TTYS!

Nail Color du Jour: Pink and mint

I know this may look very similar to my last Nail color du Jour, but trust me, it's different. For some reason I really like the colors pink and green together. They really compliment each other. Both of these color are from OPI. I'm not sure of the names because I got it done at the nail shop but next time I will make sure to get the names.

Floral Top and Mint Bottom

You can't have spring without flowers. This cape is such a great top for spring. These Capris are a personal favorite. Mint is THE color of spring 2012. It has been seen every where and I am so happy about that because I truly love this color. If you look closely, you can even spot it on my nails (Nail color du jour coming soon). Hope you all have a great Wednesday!

Orange Creamsicle

Blouse: Brooks Brothers/ Necklace and Skirt: H&M/ Clutch: TJMaxx (Similar here )/ Shoes: Zara (love these one too)

Photos by: Robbie Jackson

When I saw this skirt hanging in the store, I was instantly intriged by the clear sequins that cover it. I love the light orange color of it and it goes so well with these super popular zara sandals. I'm so glad that it's finally starting to become warm on a more consistent basis so outfits like this, with the long sleeves, will be retired for a while. Summer is a time to be naked! Ok not really naked but just a little naked and I am certainly in the process of stocking my closet with lots of flowy dresses and fab skirts so I can keep cool while looking hot! Yes, I know that was cheesy but you all get my drift. Anywho, have a amazing day and I'll see you soon.

PS: I was trying out some photo editing so that's why the photos have different effects. Which one do you like.

Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberry

Happy Friday all!! So as we all know, this past Sunday was mother's day and as per every year on that day, I made my mom a breakfast fit for a queen. This year, along with breakfast, I decided to finally try a recipe for cheesecake stuffed strawberry that I found on Pinterest. I love Pinterest. It's such a great place to find cool recipes, fabulous outfit ideas and even and diy or two. I will certainly be posting a lot more projects and recipes that I find myself trying from there. If you're on Pinterest, follow me by pressing the button on the side of the page. Anyway, back to our previously scheduled programming. This recipe is such an easy and quick recipe to make and the strawberries are the perfect dessert for a summertime picnic or party. If you are interested in trying this little delectable treat, check out the recipe below.

Ingredients:
-1 lb Large Strawberries
-Graham Cracker Crumbs
-1 lb Cream Cheese
-3-4 tbsp Powdered Sugar
-1 tsp Vanilla Extract
-Sandwich Baggie

1.Wash strawberries thoroughly. With a knife, cut off the top and bottoms of the strawberries you intend  to use. Next, hollow out as much of the strawberry as you'd like to fill with cheesecake and then set strawberries aside. (Shown above)

2.In a bowl, mix cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar until smooth. (I was so tempted to lick the bowl haha)

3.Place the cheesecake mixture into a plastic sandwich baggie and push mixture to one corner. Cut the corner off, and fill the strawberries with cheesecake mixture. When all strawberries are filled, sprinkle the tops with crushed graham cracker pieces and serve. (Refrigerate if not serving immediately).
