Nail Color du Jour: Pink and mint

I know this may look very similar to my last Nail color du Jour, but trust me, it's different. For some reason I really like the colors pink and green together. They really compliment each other. Both of these color are from OPI. I'm not sure of the names because I got it done at the nail shop but next time I will make sure to get the names.

Nail Color du jour: Neon Pink

Here is a quick post showing my nail color du jour. It's a very pretty neon pink. I'm not exactly sure what the name of the color (I got them done at the salon) but I know it's by OPI. My ring finger nail  has a hint of orange glitter on it because I was trying to mimic a picture I saw on Pinterest but the nail technician couldn't really get it right, so I just told her to do it on one finger. This nail color is really making me want Spring  to be here now!! I am so ready for the warm weather. Any who, here's the picture of my nail and the picture from pinterest I was trying to copy. I really love how those nails look and I might go back this weekend and try to get it done properly.

Pinkish- Nail color du jour

 Happy Hump day! Here is my fabulous nail color du jour.
I didn't mention this the last time but I'm actual trying to grow out my nails. I was an avid acrylic and gel user and without them my nails looked a hot mess. They were super brittle and would brake all of the time. They are starting to come around now that I wear gel polish instead and that half moon indentation, that having acrylic and gel causes, is almost grown out. I'm not totally sure if I'm going to stick with not using acrylic or gel any more but I'm going to try because the last time I had a gel overlay it helped cause a pinky fracture (which, you can kind of tell from the photo, is not completely healed). I don't where my nails extremely long so that wasn't the case but the force it took to brake my gel nail in half was enough to also fracture the bone underneath (very painful). Any who, here is my recent nail job and the color is called gossip girl (ironically one of my favorite shows hehe),which is a bright almost neon pink color. I get mine done at the salon but if you want more info about the brand used check it out here.

Just wanted to share this beautiful nail color I'm wearing today. This is something I'm going to be doing more frequently because I get my nails done quite often but I digress.....
