Lace and Denim
As a Realtor by day, I don't really have the typical 9 to 5 Monday through Friday schedule. So on weekends, when I am showing house or having a open houses, I still have to dress somewhat professionally. I choose to add relaxed elements to my outfit as to not look so stuffy, after all it is the weekend. This look is one that I have been dying to try. The femininity of the lace paired with the edge of the denim top is such an great pair to me. Every one knows I love fusion, in both food and style. The denim top was perfect for giving me just enough warmth now that the weather is becoming slightly cooler. I don't want to believe that fall is just around the corner. Though fall is my favorite season, the year just seems to be going by too quickly.
In other news, I am super ecstatic to be going to New York Fashion Week next week. I love going to the shows and just being around all of the beautiful fashion. I don't have all of my outfit completely ready yet but I'm sure I will get them done in time. I can't wait to show you all of the outfits I've curated (here some from last year) . If your going to NYFW let me know, would love to meet up with some of you!

Mirrored Print
Mirrored prints were a huge trend this year and I decided to give it a try with this fabulous Jcpenny skirt. I wore this outfit to Cocktails with Claire, an event where the blogger behind Fashion Bomb Daily came to DC (and a few other city) to have a party with some of her readers. She is such a beautiful and gracious woman and it was a pleasure to meet her. Well I've got to go, these houses won't sell them selves. Happy monday to all!!!!

Peach Almond Crumble
It's hard to believe that the summer is almost over *cue the violins*. But just because the summer is ending doesn't mean we still can't enjoy all of our favorite summer goodies. Peaches are definitely one of my favorite summer treats and to be able to make a tasty dessert with them, is just icing on the cake, (or should I say, crumble on the peaches). To find out how I made this delicious dessert, check out the recipe inside.
