Everyday People DC
This past sunday I had the honor of attending my first Everyday People's brunch. The brunch was hosted by one of my favorite chef, chef Roble', who I unfortunately missed because he came after I left. The brunch was held at Smith's Commons on H St NE. There was a cool 90's vibe and the food was great. This was my first brunch so I didn't really know what to expect but next time I think I will be wear less clothes lol . Loved my outfit but not for this event. I cannot wait to attend one of these brunches in NYC.

Jerk Chicken Tostados
So a day last week, I was craving some mexican like crazy. So I went to my trusty pinterest page for some recipe inspiration and came across this pin for Jerk Pork Tostados. I loved the idea of mixing to two different food styles and I happen to have all the ingredients to make it except for the pork which I just substituted with chicken. I also decided to boil the chicken and instead of slow cooking. The recipe came out perfectly. Here are some of the pictures I took as I was preparing it. You can check out the link above for the recipe.

Stripes and Flowers
The weather has finally broken and I am very excited to be able to bare legs again. With it being spring, I find it only right to wear some type of floral. The earrings are one of my new obsessions. Can you believe they were only $2. Such a super great deal.
