Cutouts and Prints

The thing about fashion week that know one tells you, is that it brings out your fierceness like no other. Maybe its all of the models or the lack of food but something switches in your brain and you just become an extreme amplified and fiercer version of yourself. I love this feeling and it really has encouraged me to step out of my fashion comfort zone.

Prints of Pasley

Dress, Cardi, Belt and Sunnies- H&M/ Shoes- Random Shoe Store in NYC

Happy Monday All!! This is just a quick outfit post.  I wore this outfit this past weekend while running some errands and hanging out with my babe. I love that coral cardi.  Its such a beautiful spring color and you can't really tell from the picture but the dress also has some hints of coral in it. Well I hope you all have a wonderful Monday, I actually have the day off so I'll definitly be resting and getting some things done before my work week starts tomorrow.

Stay Fabolous!!!

Workin' It

Blouse: H&M/ Cami and Belt: F21/ Pants: New York & Co/ Shoes: Issac Mizrahi for Target/ Earrings and Bag: Thrifted/ Cuff: Macys

These days, it seems as though all I do is work and sleep. I don't have time for much else except on my days off. One thing that gives me comforts, is that my job doesn't have an extreme dress code which means I'm able to express myself through my clothing. I wore this outfit to work yesterday. It is still very "work'ish" but I was able to personalize it with my pink loafers and my see-thru blouse.
Side note: The blog changes should be coming very very soon, the 1st of april to be exact, so stay tuned.

Behind the Blossoms

Blazer: Vintage/ Corset: Charolette Russe/ Skirt: Vintage/ Necklace: Vintage/ Shoes: Steve Madden/ Watch: Michael Kors/ Cuff: Macy's/ Lip color: Makeup Forever #40

Happy Monday All!! I thought I'd give you a little outfit post to start the week off right. This is an outfit that I wore last Thursday to the first anniversary party for Kathrine's La Petite Marmoset reconstructed vintage clothing line. It was a great event and I am so happy for Kathrine. I wish her so much success and am so thankful to have met such a wonderfully talented person. Ok enough of the mushy stuff, is anyone else as excited for spring and summer as I am? The weather in the DMV has  been at least 70 degrees lately and I am loving it. With warm weather comes  flowers and as you can see from my photos the cherry blossoms are starting to bloom. I have to admit, the flowers added a very nice touch to this shoot. Speaking of  the shoot, I am in love with that skirt! It's a 100% silk skirt I found while thrifting. Can you believe someone actually wanted to give this away? Well I guess it's their loss and my wonderful gain.

PS: As I told you all before, there will be a lot of wonderful changes coming to the blog soon and I hope you all are ready!!! I am so excited and can't wait for all the changes to be done. Be sure to be on the  lookout within the next week or so.

Stay Fabulous!!!

1 skirt, 2 ways

I am sooo sorry for the lack of post recently. Life has been so busy and ever changing. I just started a new job and moved into a new apartment so I'm going through some really big changes. I promised you all outfit post from my fashion week trip and here is one. I wore this lovely Brush stroke skirt and blue top to the Bloggers Night Out event that I went to when I was in NYC. I decided to wear the skirt again recently, when I went to a fashion show that was being held at my alma mater (UMBC).  I styled it fairly differently the second time so I thought it would be cool if you all told me which outfit you liked better.
Staying on the topic of changing and new things, there will be some big changes coming to this blog. I am so excited and I hope you all like all of these new adjustments but for now I don't want to spoil the surprise.  I thank you all for reading, you are amazing! Until the next post. Stay Fabulous!!

V-day Everyday

Blouse: Vintage / skirt: J crew via Thrift store / Shoes: Aldo / Necklace and Bracelet: Gifted

Seems like all of a sudden everyone's in the mood for love. I am a fan of Valentines day but I don't think that you need a holiday to express feelings for someone you should be loving everyday. I also don't think that you need a special day to wear red and pink. Today I decided to put on a valentines day-esque outfit and finished the look with some very sentimental jewelry. My heart charm bracelet and pink lady bug bracelet were given to me by my mom and the heart necklace was given to me by my sweetie and has the words "May happiness touch your life today as warmly as you have touched the lives of others" engraved on it. I love these piece and the people who gave them to me and I don't need to wait till valentines day to express that.

Flower Power

Blazer: Vintage / Cami and Skirt: F21 / Shoes: Nine West / Earrings and Bracelet: Vintage

So the weather in the DMV has been very bipolar lately. One day it's below freezing and the next it's "high of 60" and sunny. Today was one of those "high of 60" days and the sun... well it was playing hide and seek. I love that it's not freezing but the hi-low weather is causing me to be under the weather. Anyway, here is my look of the day. This jacket is just amazing. I love the floral print and the bit of sophistication it brings to an outfit. I feel like this is such a refreshing twist to the normal corporate worker attire.
