Colorful Stripes

Even though this weather doesn't want to cooperate with the season, I decided to rebel and pull out my spring inspired attire. I am so in love with this cobalt blazer. Come to think about it, lately, I've just been in love with cobalt pieces in general. I got these fabulous shoes from Aldo (You can see what I'm talking about on my instagram) in this beautiful hue and I can not wait to style them.
What are you all doing to rebel against this forever-winter weather?

Peter and sparkles

Hello Beautiful people!!!!
The weather here on the east coast is brutal and this snow is really cramping my style. I nearly froze solid taking these picture. I'm trying hard to be winter appropriate but I can't help but to long for the warmer spring months. The bright aqua colors remind me of the tropics, which would be amazing to be in right now.
I was able to style another piece from my peter pilotto for Target collection. This is actually a dress which I am wearing as a top.
I hope you are all staying warm if you're dealing with the snow and if you are somewhere warm, I hate you. jk

Polar Vortex

Here on the East Coast, it seems as though mother nature is really starting to get the hang of this winter thing. The other day we had a bit of a snow storm which made our three day weekend, into a five day weekend. I am not one to let a little snow hinder my style so I threw on my fabulous fur coat and took that storm head on. I do have to admit that my ankles almost felt frost bitten but I guess thats the price you have to pay for fashion.

Stripes and leopard print

Happy Martin Luther King Day everyone. I hope you had a great weekend!!! I spent my weekend in the New York to celebrate on of my good friend's bday. It was a very fun girls weekend and it's always great to be in the city. I fall in love more and more every time I'm there and it makes my upcoming move this summer that much more exciting.
I wore this outfit on saturday as my friends and I walked the streets of downtown Brooklyn. The weather wasn't super cold but the wind nearly frost bit my ears so I wore my scarf over my head to protect them. What do you think of my little head wrap situation?

Midi Skirt

There is nothing like a midi skirt to make you instantly glam and lady like. I love this circle midi skirt that I got from H&M last year. The last time I wore it. I went completely lady like, this time I want to add a bit of edge with the open back crop "top" and the leather pumps. The "top" is actually a cardigan that I wore backwards. I love to repurpose pieces and make them function differently for an outfit. What do you all do to refresh your wardrobe (besides shopping because we ALL do that  lol)?

70s

Hey beautiful people!! I'm so happy to able to bring you a new outfit post after my hiatus. I have a new camera now and it takes amazing photo. I'm still trying to figure out how to use it well , so my pictures should continue to get better and better.
This outfit reminds me so much of the seventies. From the light blue trousers to the lace bustier and fur collard coat, I kind of fell like I was in a Shaft movie. Though it is reminiscent of that era, I believe I was still able to make look modern. I love trying different styles and mixing modern with vintage, but you probably already know this.
Any who, it feels great to be able share a new outfit with you all and I hope that you will return because I have some great things in store.

Fuchsia

A week ago, I had the pleasure of the attending an event at Eduardo Depandi, a luxury suit shop owned by Eduardo Depandi, Giuliana Rancic's father. The store was filled with beautifully tailored suits and guest were treated to champagne and sweets.  I was so trilled to meet Giuliana and he husband, Bill.  They are like the cutest couple (besides me and my babe of course lol).
I wanted to be classy yet sexy and I think I got the ultimate approval when Giuliana 'fashion police' Rancic told me that I looked fabulous!

Emerald with envy

Took a little trip up to Baltimore yesterday to take care of some business and found myself completely surrounded by amazing places to shoot. These murals we're literally with in the same block. I had such a great time walking around and admiring the street art. My favorite mural (which I didn't get a chance to shoot) was of a the super hero Flash in robotic form. It is just so amazing to see how talented people really are because I am a big art admirer. Sometimes I wish I was artistic in that sense but I'm just thankful and truly blessed to channel my artistic nature with clothing and food. It was really cool to find other forms of art that evoked a tone similar to my artistic piece, my outfit.
Well enough with my ramblings, I hope you all have an artfully beautiful day.
